do you spend your time?
Sometimes it's helpful to think about our contributions
to the economy in terms of how we spend our time. The
format of this chart recognizes the fact that many women
do several things at the same time. When you have filled
out this chart (either by memory or as you go through
the day) circle all the activities that you consider to
be economic contributions. Then put a box around the contributions
that are recognized as contributions, in other words,
contributions that you got paid for. How much overlap
is there? |
